Getform, renamed - form backend with tight retention controls
Free + from $19/mo
saveto.app is building a product in this category. Nothing on this page is paid placem-nt, and nothing is ranked by it - the ordering rule is the same one every ot-er list here uses.
Forminit is the form backend formerly known as Getform, rebranded in January 2026; existing getform.io endpoints continue to work. It does the standard job - your HTML posts to its endpoint, it filters spam, stores the submission and emails you - and puts unusual weight on data retention, letting you set an automatic deletion window of 30, 90 or 365 days, or a custom period, from the Pro tier upward. That is a privacy-compliance feature more than a convenience one: it means you can promise a form's data disappears on a schedule and have the platform enforce it. File uploads are included even on the free plan. The plan limits are stricter than most rivals on form count rather than volume, and hitting a submission cap pauses your forms until you upgrade rather than silently dropping data.

Free covers 100 submissions a month, one form and 100MB of file storage, with email notifications, uploads, redirects, validation and spam protection. Billed yearly, Pro is $19/mo for 5,000 submissions across 5 forms plus every integration; Business is $49/mo for 10,000 submissions across 15 forms, adding autoresponders, team workspaces, a custom email sender and white-labelling; Volume is $99/mo for 50,000 submissions and unlimited forms. Forms pause when a plan's limit is reached.
Teams with a privacy or retention requirement to satisfy - the scheduled-deletion controls do work a compliance policy otherwise has to do by hand. Also a straightforward Getform migration, since the old endpoints keep working.
Yes. Getform rebranded to Forminit in January 2026. Existing getform.io endpoints still work, so an old integration does not break, but new documentation and billing live under the Forminit name.
Yes, from the Pro tier. You set a retention window of 30, 90 or 365 days or a custom period, and submissions are deleted automatically when it expires - useful when a privacy policy promises data is not kept indefinitely.
Forminit pauses your forms until you upgrade. That is more visible than silently discarding submissions, but it does mean a traffic spike can take a contact form offline, so watch the allowance on the lower tiers.
Yes - 100MB of file storage alongside 100 submissions a month and one form. Most competitors reserve uploads for paid tiers, so this is the most generous free plan here for forms that accept attachments.
