Privacy policy
saveto.app is a static directory. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and nothing you have to sign up for to read it. Exactly one thing collects data that reaches us - the two forms, which only run if you choose to fill one in. This page covers those, plus the hosting and the third-party requests a page can make.
What we collect
Browsing the directory: nothing. There is no login, no newsletter signup, and no comment system. Filling in a form: whatever you type into it, including your email address. That is everything we hold - see hosting and third-party requests for what other servers see when a page loads.
Analytics
There are none. The directory runs no analytics of any kind, sets no cookies, and stores nothing in your browser. Nothing here asks for consent because there is nothing to consent to.
The practical effect: we cannot tell which pages get read, how many people visit, or where they arrived from. The only visitor data that exists anywhere is what our host records to serve the site, described under hosting.
Forms
The submit a tool and feedback forms are hosted by Tally, a separate company. Whatever you type goes to Tally and is stored there under Tally’s privacy policy; we read it from their dashboard.
An email address is optional on the submit form and required on the feedback form. We use it to reply to you, and to let you know if something later addresses what you reported. That is the only reason we ask for it. We don’t sell it, don’t share it with the tool makers you write about, and don’t use it for unrelated marketing.
The feedback form also records which page you opened it from, so a report about one tool doesn’t get filed against another. Not filling in a form sends us nothing.
Hosting
The site is served as static files by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data - IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp - to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That data is handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms; we do not build profiles from it or export it anywhere.
Third-party requests
- Analytics - none. No measurement script is fetched from anywhere, on any page.
- Fonts - none. The Inter typeface is served from this site as two font files, not from Google Fonts, so rendering a page makes no font request to Google or any other host.
- Tool logos - also none. Each logo was fetched once while the site was being built and is served from this site, so reading a tool page sends no request to another company for its icon.
- Tally - the two form pages embed tally.so, which loads only on those pages.
- Outbound links - links to tool websites are ordinary links opened with
rel="noopener". They are not affiliate or tracking links, and we get nothing when you click one. Once you land on another site, that site’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. In practice that means a form response, since it is the only thing we hold. Ask through the feedback form using the same email address you submitted with, and we’ll delete it from Tally. That form is the only channel we read.
Changes
If the site adds a newsletter, sponsored placements, or any tracking beyond what’s listed here, this page will say so before it goes live, and the date at the top will change. See also the terms of use.
